Project Manager

This role requires motivation with extensive MEP technical depth, bold innovation, and a passion for providing the absolute top service experience to the client. As a Project Manager, you must have the ability to consistently deliver high-quality work, be attentive to detail and actively problem solve throughout the entire design, construction and installation process. You acknowledge there is always more to learn; you seize opportunities, and you refuse to settle. You understand that the work you do makes an incredible impact on our clients and those they serve. You will manage various projects, ranging in scope and complexity.

- Goal-oriented with strong time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Work closely with the executive team (ET) to ensure project success and to exceed client expectations
- Ensure our fab shop and field staff have all the information and manpower they need to succeed
- Lead communication between clients, ET, fab & field staff, BIM staff, subcontractors, and vendors
- Maintain and control project financials and conduct accurate Cost to Complete forecasts
- Maintain and control project schedule and equipment procurement
- Identify project risks and opportunities for both improvements and providing a safe working environment throughout project duration
- Complete buyout, issue subcontract and vendor PO's and change orders, process invoices in Timberscan
- Prepare project requisitions including all supporting documentation
- Manage submittals and RFI's
- Run internal project meetings on milestones and tasks
- Manage project changes, start up process and close out
- Mentor, develop, and coach any direct reports to improve leadership strength
- Frequently look for new ideas, better approaches, and innovative tools that help create stronger solutions for the client
- 5+ years of industry-specific experience
- Strong technical background in mechanical, plumbing, and/or fire protection systems
- 3+ years of management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sage, Procore, Manufacton, and Timberscan
